DEAN MARTIN episodes

Taking you through all the episodes of Dean Martin show will be like traveling to the center of the Earth. The reasons are simple. The variety and the depth of each episode make it literally impossible to include the description of all the DEAN MARTIN episodes in a small article of this nature. It is rather worth mentioning about one wonderful and entertainment packed episode. The episode number 17, which was aired on 20 January 1966, was one of the fabulous shows hosted by Dino. The episode was stuffed with some great musical performances.

This jam-packed entertainment had the highlight of the McGuire Sisters' "Gonna Get a Boy" and later on Phyllis, Christine and Dotty were joined by Dino to end up with an exciting medley, which was full of fun, charm and romanticism.

Irving Berlin's sentimental classic "Always" was performed by Dean Martin. Following the performances was the performance of Shari Lewis who displayed a breathtaking presentation of ventriloquism skill she had with her puppet Lamb Chop. More interesting was the duet performance of Dino with Lamb Chop and it was one of the cutest performances by Martin in any of the episodes of his long-lived comedy show. The musical performances did not end there and the cart rolled on with Gisele Mackenzie performing two rousing standards. Mackenzie was later joined by Dean and the duo performed the upbeat called "Life is just a bowl of cherries". Following was a bunch of novelty songs sung by Dean, who was joined by comedian Jack Carter.

Finally Dean ended up the show by singing a straight version of a song called "The Party's Over". The movers moved all the items in the house away gradually. Not to forget, Larri Thomas played the role of Dino's wife in this fabulous and music-packed episode.

Though the article concentrates around one single episode of the entire Dean Martin show, it would be cynical not to mention that all other episodes were also action packed and the audiences were enchanted by the fantabulous performances delivered by Dean and the co-actors every single time!
