Dean Martin was a great actor and comedian. He was fond of drinking as he depicts in his quote "If people want to think I get drunk and stay out all night, let them. That's how I got here, you know". At another occasion he expressed his feelings about his drinking as "I drink because my body craves, needs alcohol. I don't drink, my body's a drunk ".

Dean Martin was married for three times and he had seven children. He had a busy life but he always tried to stay at home as long as he could. He used to say "I've got seven kids. The three words you hear most around my house are 'hello,' 'goodbye,' and 'I'm pregnant'".

Joey Bishop was one of the close friends of Dean Martin. On one occasion he said "Most people think of Joey Bishop as just a replacement for Johnny Carson. That's NOT true. We in show business know better: we don't think of him at all."

Frank Sintara was also one of the close friends of Dean Martin and Martin used to mimic Sintara by saying "In high school, Frank never participated in extra-curricular activities, like nature study, paintings or ceramics. Frank's hobby was a most interesting one: he was an amateur gynecologist ".

Dean was a great actor. He would express his feelings about acting as "I can't stand an actor or actress who tells me acting is hard work. It's easy work. Anyone who says it isn't never had to stand on his feet all day dealing blackjack ".

Dean Martin performed with Jerry Lewis for a long time and their combination produced good humor. Dean Martin used to say "At some point, he said to himself, "I'm extraordinary, like Charles Chaplin". From then on, nobody could tell him anything. He knew it all ".
