Dean Martin was a great performer. Martin was awarded with a gold record on his album which was his best-seller album and was named "Dino: The Essential Dean Martin "which was in top 10 of the iTunes. On December 23, 2006 " Baby, it's cold outside " was rated as number 7 on the R & R AC charts. It was a duet by Dean Martin and Martina McBride. It was also rated number 36 on R & R country charts. In 1964, at Grumman's Chinese theatre the footprints of Dean Martin were immortalized. Martin has three stars on Hollywood walk of fame. In 2009, Dean Martin was awarded with posthumous Grammy award for lifetime achievement.

Martin was married three times in his life. His first wife was McDonald who tried her best to sustain the marriage and be a good wife and a good mother but she failed. She was divorced in 1949 and there are two different reasons told by people about the divorce. According to the first one, alcoholism of McDonald was the cause of divorce and according to the other one, infidelities of Dean Martin led to alcoholism of McDonald. Dean Martin and McDonald had four children named as Stephen Craig who was born on June 29, 1942, Claudia Dean who was born on March 16, 1944, Barbara Gail who was born on April 11, 1945 and Deana who had birth on August 19, 1948. After the divorce, Dean Martin acquired custody of his children.

Martin's second marriage was with Jeanne Biegger who was a charming lady. They were married in 1949 and their marriage lasted for 24 hours. Martin divorced Jeanne in 1973. Jeanne gave birth to three children, Dean Paul on November 17, 1951, Ricci James on September 20, 1953, and Gina Caroline on December 20, 1956.

Dean Martin's last marriage was with Catherine Hawn who worked in a saloon on Rodeo Drive. Catherine Hawn was 26 years old at the time of the marriage. Although Dean Martin adopted Catherine Hawn's daughter Sasha but the marriage couldn't succeed and Martin Divorced Catherine Hawn after three years of marriage.
